After studying Fine Art at Newcastle University, Alice pursued her passion for painting conservation, and she is currently in her final year of her Postgraduate Diploma studying the Conservation of Easel painting at The Courtauld Insitute of Art. Her final year project is focused on the conservation history of Botticelli’s painting ‘Holy Trinity’ which is currently receiving full treatment at the National Gallery lead by the Courtauld gallery conservator Graeme Barraclough. Alice has worked on a variety of paintings during the course and also engaged in the public research forum ‘Painting Pairs’. Alice has completed internships at the Victoria and Albert museum, London; Westminster Palace, London; National Trust, England and foremost private studios such as Julia Nagel conservation, London.
